Caring Health Center’s 25-year anniversary celebration

will take place on November 8, 2019, at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel, One Monarch Place, Springfield, MA.

To commemorate this milestone, the gala theme
“A Night In Oz - There's No Place Like Our Medical Home”, will highlight the health center’s  unique journey, and honor the community leaders who helped pave the way to this moment.

Caring Health Center provides patient-centered primary care, pediatrics, dentistry, behavioral health, and nutrition services to more than 21,000 patients annually — regardless of insurance, ability to pay, language, or culture.

THE CAUSE

Proceeds from this event will support Bright Bodies, Caring Health Center’s innovative, disease prevention and health promotion program targeting childhood obesity.

Childhood obesity is a serious problem nationally
and locally, placing children and adolescents at risk
for serious health problems during their lives.
Good nutrition and physical activity are essential
to maintaining a healthy body weight.
Unfortunately, many Springfield families
experience social and environmental barriers
that limit their access to nutritious foods
and safe spaces for physical activity.

Through integrated, culturally-responsive,
and community-based programming, Caring
Health Center is addressing the nutrition
and wellness needs of Springfield children and families.
