Dawn Wright, MSN-HCM, ACHE, serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Caring Health Center.  Wright joined the center in 2022 with over 25 years of experience in critical care bedside and leadership nursing experience.  Since completing her Undergraduate degree in Nursing at Stevenson University in Baltimore, MD, she has gone on to complete her Master’s Degree in Nursing Health Care Management at Elms College in Chicopee, MA.  Wright is currently pursuing her Doctoral studies in Healthcare Administration at Virginia University at Lynchburg and is anticipated to complete August 2024.  Wright is a certified ACLS and BLS instructor and is skilled in Lean Process Improvement.

Some of the leadership roles that Wright has held include Nursing Supervisor in the acute care setting along with Nurse Manager in the non-profit management sector and Director of Nursing in Mental Health.  In 2018, Wright began working part-time as Adjunct Clinical Professor at Elms College where she creates high level student engagement in the clinical practicum through an acute care environment that is conducive to learning for a diverse student population.   In order to give back to the community, Wright volunteers on the Practice Advisory Council for Porter and Chester, Lincoln Tech, and Springfield High School of Science and Technology  Certified Medical Assistant Program. She advises best practice to meet the demands of the ever-changing workforce.
