Susan Smola has served as the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer since 2021. In her role she is responsible for compliance, privacy and risk management concerns and works collaboratively with all departments and employees. Smola has an undergraduate degree from Western New England University, a MBA from the University of Massachusetts and a law degree with a certificate of health law from the Delaware Law School. She has worked in public health and health care settings for over 20 years as a researcher and program evaluator. Prior to Caring Health, she worked for a large regional hospital in health policy and quality improvement. Smola believes in accessible health care for all and strives to use her knowledge and experience to promote that.
